Hi, my name is Virginia Van Zandt, Welcome to my blog on the ties that bind precision technology in Keene. Here I will talk about members of the Keene community who through mentorship and connection have created a lasting industry in their community. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Communications at Keene State College. I’m originally from Hartford, Connecticut where I reside with my family and have strong ties to my own community. My interests outside of economics include fashion, art history, winter sports, and photography. I am especially passionate about sustainability within the garment industry. After graduation, I plan on continuing my education, either by obtaining my a Masters in Business or possibly a law degree. This course on re/deindustrialization in Keene has taught me the value of innovation and technology, but most importantly how the quality of our working relationships determine our own personal metric of success.
